Book Keeper is bookkeeping software. It is not a tax preparer, accountant, lawyer or financial advisor, and nothing in it is tax, legal, accounting or financial advice.
What this covers
This applies to everything the Service shows or produces, including:
- the Taxes pages: the Schedule C worksheet and its line suggestions, estimated tax figures, and the tax inputs;
- 1099 preparation: who appears to need a 1099, which box, the totals, and the PDF forms;
- the Massachusetts sales tax (ST-9) helper and its totals;
- the “Ready to file” checks, Books health, and the accountant packet;
- reports, categories, rules and suggested matches;
- anything the AI Assistant says or proposes.
What it means for you
- The figures come from what you and your connected services put in. If a transaction is missing, wrong or in the wrong category, the result will be wrong too.
- Tax rules change often and depend on your circumstances, your state and your business. The Service applies general rules and can’t know everything that matters for you.
- AI answers can be confidently wrong. The Assistant only proposes changes; you decide whether to apply them.
- You are responsible for what you file and pay, and for filing on time. Review every figure and form before you file or rely on it, and ask a licensed professional (a CPA, enrolled agent or tax attorney) when you’re unsure.
- Using the Service, or getting help from us by email, doesn’t make Right Intent SI LLC your accountant or advisor, or create a professional relationship of any kind.
Our Terms of Service (sections 9, 15 and 16) explain how this limits our responsibility.
